I-275 & SR 60 Tampa Bay Express Lane, FDOT District 7

8 whole take properties, 50 business relocations and 2 ODA billboards in the heart of the Westshore Business District for the ultimate expansion of Interstate 275 as it merges with SR 60 into the Tampa International Airport. The parcels included are an industrial business, a large commercial payroll headquarters and multi-tenant executive office centers that entail all the different elements of business relocation.

US 41 Lighting and Sidewalk, FDOT District 1

Assigned acquisitions for new traffic signalization, lighting and sidewalk project under districtwide contract. Parcels included 45 License Agreements, 35 Temporary Construction Easements, 25 Permanent Construction Easements and 59 Fee Parcels such as major commercial sites, large shopping centers, gas stations, local restaurants, automotive repair shop, banks and mobile home parks.

Suncoast Parkway II, FDOT Turnpike

100 parcel acquisition and 50 relocation project with an additional 15 mitigation parcels for the extension of the Suncoast Parkway II Toll Road. Responsibilities include project management, conducting a public meeting, acquisition, relocation, title updates, closings and suit preparation. Federal and State acquisition and relocation guidelines were applicable although there was no federal funding.

I-5986A Cumberland County, North Carolina, RK&K

This Design Build project encumbers urban/rural residential properties, farmlands, major businesses and numerous ODA billboards to widen I-95 from 4 to 8 lanes with the installation of several roundabouts in the Fayetteville, NC area. In conjunction with NCDOT, RK&K and ST Wooten, currently assisting in project design with approximately 180 right of way acquisitions parcels and business/residential/billboard relocations.

R-2828 540 Triangle Expressway, North Carolina, WSP

This is a Design Build project involving 164 acquisition parcels and 40 relocations. The acquisitions/relocations included claims with businesses, residential, agricultural, industrial and government owned properties in the Wake and Johnston County area. This project is a joint endeavor between NCDOT and NC Turnpike Authority where some of the properties had inverses filed due to the recordation of protective corridor map by NCDOT.

Improve I95 Interchanges, Harnett/Johnston County, NCDOT

The NCDOT Division 6 based project was where 3 interchanges (I-5877, I-5883 and I-5878) were broken out from parent project I-5986B so that major interchanges could be constructed prior to the I-95 8-lane widening project. This project encumbered rural residential, farmland, tobacco/soy fields, businesses (including gas stations, fast food restaurants and motels), major truck stops, acquisition of 2 cemeteries, residential/business relocations and numerous ODA billboards relocations to widen I-95 from 4 to 8 lanes and make major improvements to interchanges in the Dunn/Benson NC areas. In conjunction with NCDOT, Michael Baker International and Gannett Fleming, assisted in project design and acquisition of a project that has approximately 300 parcels and approximately 110 residential/business and billboard relocations.

Interstate 275, FDOT District 7

209 acquisition, 172 residential relocation and 23 business relocation project for the expansion of Interstate 275 from Himes Avenue to the Hillsborough River. I-275 is the expressway through metropolitan Tampa Bay that connects the cities of St. Petersburg and Tampa. The parcels consist of urban residential and vacant properties with commercial and industrial parcels intertwined.

FM 664 TxDOT, Ellis County

Project improvements consisted of widening the existing FM 664 from a two-lane undivided rural roadway to a six-lane rural, curb and gutter divided facility with a raised median. There are approximately 388 parcels to be wholly or partially acquired for the project, not including existing TxDOT ROW. Project required eleven displacements of single-family residences, (both built and mobile homes), to include three multi-family properties including one duplex and two parcels that contain multiple houses and/or mobile homes. A total of nine commercial properties which contain a total of 12 individual businesses where displaced or impacted from the proposed project, as well as a total of six barns, sheds, or garages.

IH 30 TxDOT, Rockwell County

Reconstruction and widening project along IH-30 in Rockwall County extending from Bass Pro Drive to the Hunt County Line (16.75 miles), consisting of approximately 130 parcels (approximately 35 acres) spanning two bridges across Lake Ray Hubbard and consisting of approximately 20 acres of Lake in Right of Way. Relocations involve two marinas involving approximately 50 different boat owners with personal property situated within the proposed Right of Way.
